I am sorry to announce that the mother one of our brothers has passed,

Pam Conroy, The Mother of Lt. John Conroy (E-59) has passed on.

Her wake will be held Sunday, August 3rd from 2-8 PM.Cumberland Funeral Home @ 8300 W. Lawrence, Norridge, IL Lawrence Ave. at Cumberland

The funeral will be Monday August 4, 10 AM @ St. Robert Bellarmine Church 4686 N. Austin, Chicago, IL.

              Firefighters Prayer
                              When I am called to duty,
                             Whenever flames may rage,
                           Give me strength to save a life
                                  Whatever be its age.

                              Help me embrace a little child
                                     Before it is too late
                              Or save an older person from
                                   The horror of that fate. 

                                    Enable me to be alert
                              And hear the weakest shout
                                  And quickly and efficiently
                                        Put the fire out.

                                    I want to fill my calling
                                    To give the best in me
                                To guard my every neighbor,
                                      protect his property.

                                 And if according to Your will
                              I must answer death's last call
                             Bless with Your protecting hand
