Super Bowl Party February 3, 2008 (1-C/E.M.S-4) 1 42 inch flat screen T.V. will be raffled off as a door prize. Two others will be given away thru pools, strip cards also will be available for those who are interested Cost is $30.00 The food includes A catered meal from Chi Tung Chinese, Beef &Sausage Sandwiches, and horsdevours. The bar will be free Starting one hour before the game until it is over. We want to limit this to 90 persons call, Butch at the Gaelic Fire Brigade at 773-778-5542 to reserve your seat. Tables of eight are still available.

Strike Party There will be four parties held on Feb 14th. One in Los Vegas, Ft. Meyers, Gaelic Fire Brigade and the North Side Fire Brigade. Last year the attendance was not all that great. Let the City know we still CARE, come on out! The Brigade will be open all day and food will be served.

Texas Hold EM    Friday Mar. 28th (1-A / E.M.S.2) Mark your calendar as there wont be another news letter before then. It is $100.00 buy in Winners determined by the number of players. food and pop will be included. In the past Most of the players were not Brigade members. It would be nice to see more of our members supporting this event.

Winter Luncheons  Last years the luncheons were well received so rich Diver says he is going to do tow more they will be on Feb 19 and March 18 He asks if you would call the brigade if you plan to attend so he knows how much food to buy

South Side St. Pat's Parade March 9 (3-E/E.M.S.-3) Mass in the morning at St. Cajetans , Muster in Class A Uniforms at 103rd and Western Ave. for active Firefighters. There will be Sashes for our retired Members. You active guys bring some other Firefighters to march with us.

Presidents Report.  I wish to thank all of the people who helped with the picnic, BBQ's Golf outing, and all the other affairs that are held by the Brigade. A special thanks to George Hensley our dishwasher, and to Butch Regan for all of the work he does around the Brigade.

Hall Rental                   Rental of the hall is still only $250.00  This covers clean up and the pop gun is also included. Members must be in good standing to rent the hall. A $100.00 deposit is required at time of hall reservation.The hall has just been repainted it is looking really sharp, We ask that you not use Tape on the side walls for decorations and you must remove all food and beverages when you leave. you must be a member in good standing to rent the hall. (The means your must be current with your dues).

Summer Barbeques               Our first barbeque will be held on Friday, May 18,2007 (1/A-EMS/1) Strip steaks, baked potatoes, Salad & desserts will be served. the cost is $8.00. this is a good way for you new members to get acquainted with everyone in the brigade. If possible , it would be nice to have a rough count, so please call if you plan to attend. Our second BBQ will be on Friday June 15,2007 (2/A-EMS/3)

Tuesday Golf at Marquette Park  Morning golf has started again. Come on out and play and then enjoy a great lunch back at the Brigade

Picnic                                                               Plans are being made for our annual picnic which is being held on Sunday July 27, 2008 . there will be pony rides, a jumping jack, a reptile man, & D.J. to entertain our families: also a bean-bag tournament and many games and prizes for the kids.
